ReplyDeleteWe use a 240V electric blanket via a 1300W PSW inverter and we usually run our inverter 24/7, unless the batteries are down.
At 'flat chat' the blanket draws about 5A (at 12V) per side. Typically we would run it on high for 1/2 an hour before climbing in (= 5A/Hrs). Occasionally we would then run them on a low setting for an hour or so in the 'wee hours' (maybe another 3-5A/Hrs).
Not a huge lump of power and VERY nice.
